AnnaCate 8 1/2 months

During the hot afternoons, Mommy gives us a frozen fruit snack on the porch. We get so messy that we usually just wear our didees

I love when Mommy sings "pop" goes the weasel

Mommy and Daddy took us to the Hunting Island to put our feet in the water. It was fun, but a big rain came and delayed my lunch... it was up to me to communicate my needs...I am very good at that.

This is my blankie, I carry it everywhere in my mouth. It makes crawling much easier, and now that I have two bottom teeth, I can hold it better. this is me standing in my crib, I can pull up so well now. -gotta go, love to all, AnnaCate

Busy at seven+half months!!

We traveled to our Uncle Jeff's wedding in Myrtle Beach. Mommy and Daddy took us to the aquarium, we saw so many bright, fast colors!! We are so glad mommy and daddy finally got brave enough to take us out in public!! We were on our best behavior!

Here we are with our play group on our back porch.

We can sit up now...we even try to crawl, but we still learning that trick. We share Daddy and even the same toy giraffe (we just gum on different ends)
PS, I am getting a big curl on my head, here come the bows, love annacate

Jack shares

Hi everyone,
I'm finally big enough to play in here. What do Momy and Daddy
do when I'm busy? This is my sister and me, she can't fit in the playplace yet, so I let her watch. That way I can teach her how to play with the toys. Sometimes sissy and I let Daddy play with our toys, but sometimes he falls asleep when he's playing with us, I gues he thinks our toys aren't so much fun? I can roll over on my stomach now, but Mommy helps me get back over, I'm not too sure about that part yet. Mommy and Daddy gave sissy her pasi back, but now she doesn't shout out loud as much. I miss that because I always thought that was much more interesting than my toys. Well, I gotta go because it's my bedtime and I'm getting squirmy in Mommy's arms (gotta get some growin' in before the sip-n-see party)

Bye-Bye,
Jack

Double Blessings

We have many pictures of both children together and we needed to choose one for our announcement, the first is our announcement choice. Mommy had to put many funny toys on her head to get this pictures :) I hope no one was watching.

"We are both teething" translates to "Mommy and Daddy don't sleep much"

Just enough room here for the two of us.

"Daddy took us for a stroll around Port Royal, so Mommy could have a break. Too bad Mommy missed seeing all those clouds and houses and such. I wonder what she could possibly do without us!"

Some December Pics to share

Anna Cate at 4months smiles and holds DaDa 's hand. Then John and Justin, childhood freinds, let AnnaCate and Mira meet, hopefully to become new childhood friends!

Finally Jack and AnnaCate show their "busy legs" on GreatGma's Quilt . Great Aunt Terri helps Jack get a better view of the chirstmas tree.

A Double Belssing: Twin Christening

Godparents and Parents from L2R: Shannon (and Kevin), Heather and Jason, (Alison) and Wade, Mom with Jack and Daddy with AnnaCate. How lucky we are to have these folks in our little ones lives. AnnaCate had a cozy spot after the christening (yes, she voted, in fact that was mommy's first outing by herself! we were quite the show in the voting line). Jack and his Godfather Wade spend some time together. Wade later told Jack "Sorry 'bout the dress buddy, we'll get you some Carharts later". Jack is already glad Wade is his godfather :)

The babes were picture perfect in church, the exact opposite of our first trip to church. Even though Mommy and Daddy were nearly late to the service, dressing the babies at the church, so as not to wrinkle the gowns, which quickly wrinkeld anyway :). GranMolly and Popadoc were worried as we rushed down the aisle. Being timely is not a virtue our babes hold true, they find many things for Mommy and Daddy to do last minute! We were amazed at the intent stares of Jack and AnnaCate, from the front row during the sermon, they never took their eyes from the pulpit. Jack did loose interest and doze just before they poured the water over his head, but no peeps, just wide eyes after that. It was a beautiful day and we are truly doubly blessed.
