Thanksgiving

At 11 weeks, Jack and AnnaCate share there first Thanksgiving with their grandparents. L2R: GranMolly, Granma Maggie and Jack, Granpa and AnnaCate, PoppaDoc, and of course Mom and Dad up front. We tried to fool everyone by dressing them both in blue, but it seems that these grandparents know better. Our first tree will go up soon, we are sure that the lights will mesmerize the babes and hopefully make the evening sour hours a little easier. Happy Holidays!

Baby's first trip to Church

We arrived at the 1015 service. The babies wore their sunday best. We just wore whatever was clean! We sat in the back of the church and hoped for the best. The babes enjoyed the opening music, however we couldn't quite figure out how to hold the hymnal open while each holding a baby and jiggling. Of course those of you who have heard AnnaCate cry (scream) can imagine how appreciative the church was when she said "Hey Im hungry!" We made it to about the communion, but the babies were ready to go home with full diapers and empty stomachs. Oh well, maybe next time!!!

Mommy in our living room with church ready babes...although the closeup shows that Jack is not thrilled (if you double click on the picture it should get larger)

Playtime Movies at 6.5 weeks old

AnnaCate learns to play (Above) and Jack is ready for lunch. It's so great to watch discover the world. It's now 8 weeks and they are looking at our faces and yesterday Jack started to smile. His Daddy came home yesterday and he turned his head and smiled at Daddy.

We love watching them grow :)

Three weeks old already!

John and I have said that it feels like a day and a year all at once. Time is much more fluid now that we are on the twins schedule. It is amazing what a twenty minute nap can do!! Above is daddy with AC and J. Below is mommy with AC.
Uncle Dave visited and brought some stuffed animals by for both. he is holding Jack. We are still waiting for AC to lose that umbilical cord, so she can have a real soaking bath, we think she's like it.
gotta go hungry babe :)
