Godparents and Parents from L2R: Shannon (and Kevin), Heather and Jason, (Alison) and Wade, Mom with Jack and Daddy with AnnaCate. How lucky we are to have these folks in our little ones lives.
AnnaCate had a cozy spot after the christening (yes, she voted, in fact that was mommy's first outing by herself! we were quite the show in the voting line). Jack and his Godfather Wade spend some time together. Wade later told Jack "Sorry 'bout the dress buddy, we'll get you some Carharts later". Jack is already glad Wade is his godfather :)
The babes were picture perfect in church, the exact opposite of our first trip to church. Even though Mommy and Daddy were nearly late to the service, dressing the babies at the church, so as not to wrinkle the gowns, which quickly wrinkeld anyway :). GranMolly and Popadoc were worried as we rushed down the aisle. Being timely is not a virtue our babes hold true, they find many things for Mommy and Daddy to do last minute! We were amazed at the intent stares of Jack and AnnaCate, from the front row during the sermon, they never took their eyes from the pulpit. Jack did loose interest and doze just before they poured the water over his head, but no peeps, just wide eyes after that. It was a beautiful day and we are truly doubly blessed.
